New oak gate posts for The Church of All Saints at West Lavington
The soft wood gate posts had failed so it was decided to go for a more befitting option.
The posts and labour costs were donated by a local parishioner.

Pollarding an avenue of Lime Trees in West Lavington
What a difference a week makes – storms and strong winds delayed the start to a lime avenue pollarding project in West Lavington.
Great work by all involved – 2 MEWPS do make it safe and much easier.

We finally were able to get back to finish the pollards in West Lavington once the school had broken up for Easter. The recent high winds delayed the start of the project

Roadside hedging at West Lavington
Our last post for 2019: Our task here was to remove some scrubbing roadside hedging on the nasty S bends on the main Devizes to Salisbury Road at West Lavington. The job was made very much easier by the lack of traffic. It was unable to be done by hand so needed the tractor and flail time.
