Rather wet and soggy today, mid-February, erecting this chainlink fence for Wessex Water.
We were erecting security fence around a large transformer for Wessex Water in Salisbury today. But, given the nature of the transformer and the metal security fence, it becomes a Faraday cage so the electricians have to earth the fence.
This was a job near Waitrose in Salisbury, which we undertook for Wiltshire County Council. The 120′ trees had become rotten and unsafe and with a footpath underneath and a river running alongside, made for urgent action needed to remove them.
