Site clearance in Gillingham this week with the whole tree chipper to deal with the large hawthorn trees.
Hedge and fence being removed to allow an extension to a utility site. 400m of new chain link perimeter fence to follow in the coming weeks. All very busy so we only had the transit to move the chip!
Stage 3 of a 5000 m contract for MoD including mulching and chainsaw work and a lot of hard work.
These works are to create replacement chalk grassland following the loss of an area due to the building of new houses for soldiers in Tidworth.

Tristan has been busy mulching with the Seppi flail and reverse-drive Valtra…
Firstly a 6 ha site near Dinton around juniper bushes and then off to Dartmoor for more of the same the following day. The poor quality of video is due to the bullet proof window !!
Tristan then went on to Bovey Tracey in Devon – just east of Dartmoor for a site clearance before this became a tip.
Here’s a couple of youtube snippets for you to see of our team mulching
Firstly Tristan tackling 4m high blackthorn re-growth
And secondly, our project before Christmas in December 2015 when we undertook an 80ha mulching contract in Corby, Northamptonshire
We were clearing from a former steelworks site now ready for industrial planning.
