Erecting these massive steel gates is the conclusion to work we have carried out for Wessex Water at their Gillingham sewage treatment plant over the last year. These gates are steel and chain link to match the fence which we constructed last year.

Another day another 1000m post and rail job
Our job here was to replace an old, rotten post and rail fence which had served its time. We removed the fence and replaced it with 1000m of new, creosote-treated timber post and rail fencing. This should last another 30 years.

400m chain link fencing with 3-strands of barbed wire on top for Utilities company in Gillingham
Following on from our hedge removal project in the summer, we now needed to erect the perimeter fence to the site for the utilities company. The site had been upgraded and expanded to meet the demand for new housing. We erected 400m of 1.8m chain link fence with 3 strands of barbed wire on top.
The Protech creates 10-inch profiles for the concrete posts ready for the 400m of chain link fencing.
Footpath gates erected at Tidworth
Footpath gates erected at Tidworth as part of a larger fencing project to allow grazing and public access.
Our brief was to erect 500m of new barbed wire fence to allow grazing of cattle on chalk grassland to the rear of houses in Tidworth. We then needed to erect new footpath gates to allow access for walkers while remaining cattle proof at the same time. Jan 2019
Equestrian Arena build in Lavington
This is now complete. Following a successful planning application approval, the brief was to build a 40 x 20m sand arena. The topsoil was removed and the site levelled with drainage and soakaway. Then a stone sub-base with a membrane underneath was laid, then a second membrane. Finally, the correct sand type was added along with post and rail fence and gates installed.
Telegraph pole for gate post Poulshot
Something a little different in Poulshot:
Here we used a fifteen feet long telegraph pole for a gate post. The image shows the pole being driven in, and then we used it to hang the gate on.

Our project here was to supply and erect 300m of 2m high palisade fencing for Cross Engineering in Devizes.
Palisade fence panels are the most popular choice for locations today requiring a high level of security and vandal resistance.
Steel palisade fencing is usually the first choice for schools, utility installations and industrial sites. This is because of its high damage resistance and the fact that it is so difficult to climb.

3m high palisade fence for utility company in Mere
Another day and another job requiring a 3m high palisade fence x 30m in Mere.
This is to give added security around a water tank for a utility company and under the eye of Mark Holbrook.
Close board fencing and hardwood iroko timber gates in Marlborough
Our client had just purchased the house in Marlborough and our brief was to make the garden dog-proof and a little more private with a small length of close board fencing (8m). In addition, we installed new hardwood iroko timber gates and oak posts; curved heel is the higher side of the gate to give a diagonal brace – just different! And we created an area to make a secluded bin store. Iroko is a highly durable timber with a medium oily texture. It is frequently referred to as African Teak due to its durability and appearance.
Palisade Fence for a utility site in Mere
Today was part of a refurb to erect a palisade fence for a utility site in Mere around a water tank, to give added security. Mere lies at the southwestern tip of Salisbury Plain.
We had previously taken down the high palisade fence in the spring to allow works in and around the area, and now it is being put back in place. The fence was 30m long x 3.6m high palisade with electric wires taking the overall height up to 4.8m, and there was an access gate.
