Our Specialist Equipment Includes:

Takeuchi TB230 Compact Excavator can easily be moved between sites by a 4x4.  It comes with a high hydraulic oil flow and a rotating handling grab for a wide range of tasks including removal of fences, excavation works in small spaces and handling cut brash and timber. Compact and Evo 3 tracked, self-propelled post drivers from Protech – where driving posts can become a one-person operation

The Compact is smaller and light enough to be towed behind a 4x4 to get to site. It can be used for all types of fencing with its telescopic mast able to drive in a 3m post.  It’s on tracks so minimal ground damage caused, especially in the wet.

The Evo 3 is the largest in the Protech range, with a machine weight of 6.5 tons and needs to be delivered on a low loader.  But even though a larger machine, it gives a lighter footprint than the Compact, with a ground pressure of 2.27PSI.  It has a 500kg hammer weight.  Each track itself is 500mm wide , and the tracks can be fully extended to 3.3m, giving greater stability on steep ground.

Also, as a back-up, we have two tractors fitted with post drivers for busy periods to meet customer demand.
