New oak gate posts for The Church of All Saints at West Lavington
The soft wood gate posts had failed so it was decided to go for a more befitting option.
The posts and labour costs were donated by a local parishioner.

Two different sets of security gates erected
Two different sets of security gates erected last week – sign of the times I am afraid.
One set for Cross Engineering in Devizes for Henry Timmis, and one for a new development site in Westbury.
Both sets 1.8m high and of galvanised metal.
50m domestic close board 1.8m high in Westwood
Our task here was to replace a fence which adjoins a farmer’s field. So we had first to liaise with the farmer to find the right time for when no cattle were in residence. We then had a considerable job in clearing a large amount of old timber and chainlink fence along with the old hedge, conifers and bushes.
The total fence was 50m long approx. x 1.8m close board. Also included was a gate which now allows easy access to the field for the owners and their dogs.

Manton Downs Stud Rail Project
This is an ongoing project running over several months.
Here we show Dave’s video featuring some 3,500m approx of post and stud rail we erected to make the side fence to the racecourse gallops. This took us about 10 days to complete.
We then needed to add a number of 5-bar timber gates and some additional fencing to ensure the horses can be safely secured. You’ll see a couple of the gates we painted white which was in keeping with them being at the side of the gallops.
