New eventing yard Chippenham
It’s been a busy few weeks for our fencing team working on an exciting new build Equestrian yard project near Chippenham.
First up we dug a 60 x 20 arena, installed the drainage, fixed the membrane and added 8 inches of stone.
Then we fenced the area and put boards down, all ready for the top surface.
Next will be a new American barn with stables, paddocks, storage building and horse walking to follow with post and rail paddocks.
More posts to follow to keep you updated and for more information about our other fencing projects please see this web page.

Conservation Contractors cut down the tree in Balmoral Road..
A DISEASED 50ft tree that was nearly 100 years old had to be cut down from a street in Trowbridge as it was a safety risk.
The Lime Tree at Balmoral Road was taken down last week as many of its branches were dead or rotting.
Workers from Conservation Contractors Ltd spent several hours chopping down the tree, leaving just a stump in its place.
“It is quite a sad sight to see a once lovely tree taken down. Most of the trees here were planted before people moved here and I have been told they were 80-90 years old,” said Graham Hill, of Balmoral Road.
Wiltshire Council have said they will replant a tree in its place

Here we are using our versatile Protech Evo 2 self-propelled post driver to create 10″ holes x 1 meter deep in solid chalk for steel gate posts.
Our task was to create one meter deep holes for metal gate posts for Wessex Water in Durrington, just north of Amesbury. With this piece of kit, we punch a hole in the ground, put in the post and add the concrete – “Simples” (and no digging, and no soil to take away !)

We were asked to remove grass and replace with an artificial grass surface for a healthcare client in Poole.
