Making and installing props to support veteran oak trees

Making and installing props to support veteran oak trees:

Today we have been installing props under veteran oaks to support over extended limbs.  We made the props in-house along with all metal feet and supports, installed by Steve and Dan.

Protech 10 inch wide hole former

Here we are using our versatile Protech Evo 2 self-propelled post driver to create 10″  holes x   1 meter deep in solid chalk for steel gate posts.

Our task was to create one meter deep holes for metal gate posts for Wessex Water in Durrington, just north of Amesbury. With this piece of kit, we punch a hole in the ground,  put in the post and add the concrete – “Simples” (and no digging, and no soil to take away !)

We do all sorts of different kinds of fencing and gates, not just security… Take a look at our fencing page here.

And then Rich Trevor Geoff and Lawrence have found a barn whilst working at Valley Farm.
